About the founder Chelsea Lynx
As a certified aromatherapist, ceremonial guide, reiki master practitioner and initiated scent priestess of the rose lineage, I began my journey with aromatherapy many years ago. I was struggling with a lot of mental and physical health issues that conventional medicine was not supporting me with, and through my research I discovered herbalism and aromatherapy.
It was a big awakening for me to discover that plants could help me with my problems, and that all the medicine was actually contained within nature.
As soon as I discovered essential oils, I immediately started mixing and blending, making special aromatic blends for certain health purposes. Shortly after that I was introduced to DoTERRA and decided to become a seller and give the business a shot. I didn't last very long and the business didn't work for me but I discovered that I was passionate about helping people with aromatherapy and teaching about the benefits, however I felt that there was a deeper layer to aromatherapy beyond just the medicinal properties, something more mystical and ceremonial and about the oils and the way they would make me feel when I used them.
My Story
I had another big awakening when I first experienced the fragrance of artisanal vintage rose oil and through this experience I started receiving the ideas, downloads and templates for what Ritual & Rose was to eventually become.
I saw the vision of a Rose Temple and the anointing oils being used for initiatory and spiritual purposes. I started sharing and anointing people with the rose oil everywhere I would go until people started telling me I was a “Myrrhophore”.
At the time I had no idea what that was but I looked it up and there was not very much information about it other than the title of “Myrrh bearer” or “Mistress of the Sacred Oils”, and I had a flood of downloads, past life memories come through and it became my mission to become re-initiated into this lineage.
As my spiritual journey progressed I started communing deeply with the spirit of the Rose and She would guide me, inspire me, and give me instructions to make medicines for healing and heart awakening.
Since then I have immersed myself in the ancient teaching of the rose lineage and completed multiple initiatory rose priestess trainings.
I am currently a second year initiate in the scent priestess lineage, and I'm learning all about the spiritual dimention of the oils and how to perform ceremonial rites of passage through the ancient art of anointing. I’m also temple keeper of Rosa Mystica and have journeyed intimately with her for many lifetimes.
I believe that rose consciousness is blooming on the planet right now alongside the rising of the Divine Feminine, the return of the goddess and the awakening of the One Heart of Sophia Christ through the awakening of the Rose Heart of Humanity. This, I believe, is truly the medicine that will change the world.
